I’m Richard, Founder of the Retrofit Hub.
My inspiration to start the company came from understanding what problems homeowners face, and knowing that I have the knowledge and expertise to identify and implement effective solutions.
Homeowners were struggling to find the right advice, which is paramount to effective retrofit projects. And securing a competent team to carry out work to the highest standards achievable, proved difficult because of the required skill level.
I saw a problem to which I could provide a solution, and thus The Retrofit Hub was conceived: An experienced team of people who can provide expert advice, guide customers through the assessment and design process, and install appropriate solutions for each individual home.
I like to think we treat each house individually – just as the owners themselves are – and we find solutions that are sympathetic to both the homeowner’s priorities and the integrity of each unique house. There isn’t a one size fits all solution.
We take our clients from the initial enquiry all the way through the process to the final installation and evaluation. We focus on making our customers’ journeys as pain free as possible, and I believe we’ve made the process smoother and easier.
We have retrofit advisors who can get your project off to the right start, we have coordinators who will over see the project and keep it on track, and we have a brilliant team of installers who will do the job properly, every time.
We now also offer training in retrofit techniques so that even more people can benefit from our expertise.
We train DIYer’s, home renovators, builders and trades.
And because we’re so incredibly proud of the work we do, we now also train the next generation by partnering with the King’s Trust.
I’m really proud of the team I’ve built, we grow in number every year, but we also grow as people and individuals each year too.
